Our Flat Shader No.8 is part of the Original Gold® 9300 Golden Taklon series by Kingart.  

Designed by the Cornell family (from the Loew Cornell Brand) with the artist in mind, manufactured to survive years of steady use. They have been exceeding the needs of the most demanding artists and enthusiasts for three generations.

The Flat Shader brushes are ideal for getting into tight spots, creating square shapes with precise edges, creating shading effects, or creating other patterns. These short handle, Golden Taklon brushes come with medium-length bristles that start off wide, but gradually taper to a precise square edge.

 They work equally well with watercolor, acrylic and oil.

 Each brush is expertly crafted to mimic the virtues of natural hair including exceptional paint-holding capacity.  

 Each brush holds its shape well and consists of filaments that are dyed and baked to increase softness and absorption.

The filaments of each brush are bound together with nickel-plated brass ferrules and crimped at the bottom to ensure an extra-secure bond to the handle.

Each handle is ergonomically crafted to reduce muscle fatigue and are carefully balanced to provide maximum control. 

Vegan-Friendly 100% synthetic filament.

Brushes are disposable, extending life expectancy of your brushes can be achieved with good care and attention. Dont leave in water and clean with brush soap or cleaner after every use and dry.
